Hello Community Partners,

Happy New Year! The San Antonio Area Foundation scholarship application is now open, and we want to ensure you and the students you serve are aware of the many opportunities available.

The Area Foundation administers over 100 scholarship funds, with eligibility criteria that reflect a wide range of student backgrounds, academic paths, and financial circumstances. This means there truly are opportunities for students at many stages and from many walks of life.

In the most recent award year, the Foundation granted over $13 million in scholarships. Still, each year some funds go unclaimed. With your partnership, our goal is to help ensure 100% of available scholarship dollars reach students.

Navigate the EPIC Scholars Application Info Session : January 22, 2026

We’re offering two virtual information sessions covering the same content. During these sessions, we will:

• Walk through the EPIC Scholars application step by step

• Highlight key scholarships and eligibility considerations

• Share tips for supporting students through the application process

Lunch Hour Session: 12:00–1:00 PM | Thursday, January 22

Evening Session: 6:00–7:00 PM | Thursday, January 22
