This evening, smoke was reported coming from the BISD Transportation Department at the Bus Barn. The cause has yet to be determined. The fire department was immediately contacted and responded swiftly, successfully extinguishing the fire in a short amount of time.
We are grateful to report that no buses were damaged in the incident, and no staff members were present at the time. We deeply appreciate the quick response of our local fire department, as well as the neighbor who noticed the smoke, helping ensure a rapid resolution.
