BISD Safety & Security Protocols Safety & Security at Bandera ISD Show Transcript at bander icy Safety and Security is our top priority Bandera ISD is a guardian District all school campuses are protected by armed personnel in addition we have student resource officers on campus to assist the school administration and maintaining a safe and secure environment safety communication throughout the district is Made Simple for every staff member and every situation crisis go and panic buttons are equipped on every campus all classrooms and staff are immediately prepared for any event here at BISD if you see something hear something say something stay safe and speak up by calling our 247 hotline at 830-460-3902 or to report online simply visit our band are ISD website and click on say something from there you can fill out the appropriate report remember if you see something hear something say something recognize the science activity and take it seriously let's review our safety and security protocols here are the 5 protocols Bandera ISD follows a nationally accepted standard response protocol on all campuses now let's look at the explanation of protocol hold in your room or area please clear the Halls a hold is used when campus Administration needs the hallways cleared for a very short amount of time secure get inside lock outside doors a secure call is used if law enforcement notifies there is a threat outside the proximity of the school lockdown blocks Lights Out of Sight lockdowns are issued if there is a threat on campus evacuate evacuation is called in the event of 5 or after a threat situation shelter Hazard and safety strategy shelter is generally called for weather or Hazmat situations outside the school in the event of an emergency the only official messaging will be from law enforcement Partners or Bandera ISD be sure you have downloaded the Bandera ISD Bulldogs app from your app store and keep all parent emails and phone numbers up to date Safety and Security is a top priority in bandare ISD We Believe relationships and clear communication are critical to Safe secure and successful schools we also believe it is a responsible partnership with our entire Community to keep our schools safe
